Chief Administrative Officer

Working closely with the Chief Wealth & Investment Officer (CWI), the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) will oversee the efficient operation of the firm, including financial administration, robust process and policy development and improvement, and strategic planning. Together with the CWI, the CAO will create short- and long-term goals and objectives and incorporate them into the firm’s budget and business systems. The CAO will ensure the firm’s investment advisors and financial planners have the necessary resources to provide excellent financial planning and investment services to VWMG clients; maximize productivity; generate business; and maintain and enhance the firm’s standing as a preeminent boutique wealth management firm. Leveraging his/her strong people skills and understanding of emotional intelligence, the CAO will also supervise and guide the professional development of the administrative staff and compliance officer and facilitate an overall positive, supportive, and encouraging work culture.


The VWMG Chief Administrative Officer should have the following qualifications & skills:

· Minimum BA or BS Degree, preferably in a business-related field (Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, etc. 

· Must hold a Series 65 License at minimum or be willing to attain within 1 year of employment. Series 66 also meets this requirement. 

· At least 7 years of management and supervisory experience. 

· At least 10 years of experience in the financial industry.

· Must possess strong administration and operational skills.

· Must possess strong analytical skills. 


Investment Advisor 

The success of our firm relies heavily on our ability to deliver quality service to clients through comprehensive financial planning and by providing strategic investment advice.  A key member of the VWMG team, the Investment Advisor (IA) insures that clients meet their financial objectives and achieve their financial goals. The IA’s experience, expertise, and solid communication skills help to develop our firm through strong client relationships and sound, unbiased advice. Additionally, the IA should have the appropriate investment license (see below), an unwavering commitment to ethics as required by the investment industry, and possess the acumen to effectively engage a wide variety of clients.


VWMG Investment Advisors should have the following qualifications & skills:

· Minimum BA or BS Degree, preferably in a business-related field (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, etc. 

· Must hold a Series 65 or Series 66 License. 

· At least 7 years of experience in the financial industry.

· Must possess strong communication skills.

· Must possess a keen ability to build and manage authentic relationships.

· Must possess strong analytical skills portfolio management skills.

· Must possess strong client management skill. 


Financial Planner

The success of our firm relies heavily on our ability to deliver quality service to clients through comprehensive financial planning and by providing strategic investment advice. A key member of the VWMG team, the Financial Planner (FP) is laser-focused on understanding clients’ needs and goals to ensures they meet their financial objectives. The FP works in tandem with VWMG IAs to craft a comprehensive financial plan that will drive responsible growth for existing clients, and eagerly engages in business development activities to identify and recruit future clients.


VWMG Financial Planners should have the following qualifications & skills:

· Minimum BA or BS Degree, preferably in a business-related field (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, etc. 

· Must hold a Series 65 or Series 66 License. 

· At least 7 years of experience in the financial industry.

· Must possess strong communication skills.

· Must possess a keen ability to build and manage authentic relationships.

· Must possess strong analytical skills and portfolio management skills.

· Must possess strong client management skills. 

· Must possess strong financial planning skills.

· CFP® designation preferred.
